Yes. Create a free account for unlimited lookups — no credit card. When you reach for a Pro feature, you can start a 14-day Pro trial, also with no card. Team Access comes with a 14-day free trial. Enterprise customers are onboarded through a sales conversation.

Yes. To change plans, use your account settings or email support@permit-atlas.com. Your saved data stays with your account when you switch tiers.

When your trial ends, your account drops back to the free plan — you keep unlimited jurisdiction lookups and lose only the Pro extras (dashboard, saved favorites, and Excel/PDF export). Your saved data stays intact and is available again if you upgrade.

A lookup is one address check — we tell you which jurisdiction handles permits for that address and whether a permit is required. We don't pull or file permits on your behalf. All paid plans include unlimited jurisdiction lookups; the 5-per-session cap only applies to the free guest mode.

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis — email support@permit-atlas.com and we'll take a look. You can also cancel anytime from your account settings to stop further billing.
